on my car my ABS warning light is on, while replacing a strut i removed the sensor ( one bolt at the bottom of axial) and noticed it look like the end was damaged. just R&R each sensor. it has a long cable that goes up into the body but haven't looked for the end yet. hope it'll help
To test an abs sensor for a Lexus ES you will need to use a multimeter. The multimeter will determine if the abs sensor works or not.
no idea i hope i helped
See related link which includes instructions for testing any O2 sensor.
scanning for codes will indicate if the CPS is at fault.
Test the relay and the temperature sensor.
It appears that all that you can test is the resistance across the sensor. Testing across terminals +b and HT at 20 degrees centigrade (68 degrees Fahrenheit) the front sensor (Bank 1 sensor 1) should give a a reading of 5~7 ohms, the rear sensor (bank 1 sensor 2) should return a reading of 11~16 ohms. Readings outside this range suggest replacing the sensor.

how to test crank sensor
My cousin with a kia Sophia went to have scope test done and they said that is what her problem was, I went to the part store in a common part store for much cheaper price than dealer, on the print out it showed the crankshaft sensor located on top rear of transmission. rear meaning rear of car not rear of transmission driver side wheel. Hope this helps. doug from Florida
