However on a 1.9 Diesel next to the crankshaft pulley is a tensioning pulley find this and you will see two bolts one is an Allen key bolt loosen this using the correct size Allen key.
Then below the Allen key bolt is a square one use a square section key or a ratchet that fits you will notice that rotating this tightens or loosens the belt.
If you cannot tighten sufficiently just change the belt.
