Bend it back or get a new latch.
There is no tightening. It is hydraulic and self-adjusting. If you have little or no clutch, you need a new clutch or something is wrong in the hydraulics.
Skin will tighten if you are just a little bit overweight
on the inside of your wheel there is a little nut screwed to the bolt on the trucks, use a wrench to tighten that
From The Equinox Resort and Spa in New Hampshire. They used to leave them in the room as part of the "toiletries", along with the shampoo and soap many years ago! Now you have to buy it in the gift shop.

I don't really know how to tighten it, its a tough job so i hear. ($400 or so) I have heard a couple of remedys for it, put a peice of velcro on the ceiling and visor, tie a peice of string from visor to a hook or something you put in your ceiling, or use something and just jimmy it in there so there is no room around the pole itself. Hope this helps a little.

Let a professional do it.
you don't really torque them, you tighten little by little as you shake them up and down until they are snug, the tighten just a little more, too much will leave you with bent pushrodsAnswerActuall, the 87 uses hydrolic roller lifters, so the procedure would be to just tighten them down. I believe that the torque spec is something like 24 ft. lbs. (you should look it up). Dont just tighten them down until the pushrods appear to be tight (as described in the first answer) or the nuts may back out and you will have big problems. Unless you have changed pushrod length or installed aftermarket rocker arms. If this is the case, you may need to purchase shims to maintain the proper rocker arm geometry.
