You add it thru the dip stick hole. Yep its small. You can purchase a funnel at a local auto store or check around the house for a mustard bottle or similar devise. It has a cap that has a tip for the hole. Just cut off the bottom and pour the oil in that way. OR keep it uncut and pour it in like you are filling the bottle and then squirt in what you need. Then keep the bottle around for next time. Unless you have a clean garage and no dust in the air a funnel will collect dust.
Or, as I do, cut a paper plate, or stiff paper, into a triangle. Then twist it into a funnel. Cut the tip so it just fits the hole and tape it. Then pour in the fluid. Nice quick cleanup and no worry about dust for next time.
