It depends on how it was sent. If it was mailed at a post office, the Italian postal service may be able to track it. If it was sent by a private service (FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.), then try the website of the shipping company.
You can track a package you have sent or are expecting by going to the UPS or FedEx website. They will have a link called "track a package."
You can use the link below in "Sources and related links" to track. Actually you can track any TNT package with it, not just those from China to USA.
To track a package that is being sent through FedEx one would need to have the tracking number associated with the shipment. With this number it is possible to go to the fedEx website and enter it in their tracking tool which would list the last known location of the package.
Sent a USPS package CW186232608US to a business in the Domincan Republic. They report not receiving it. Package sent April 28 2012 it is now May 24. Who do I contact to track the package?
Depending on how you sent it there should have been a tracking number on the package or on the receipt that was given to you . Go to the shippers web site or call them and give them that number and they will tell you where your package is.

Dear Sir we sent package to UK how do we track an airway bill no please let me know Thank you with best regards
Unfortunately, there is no way to track a package if you did not receive a tracking number. A tracking number is needed in order to know if mail has shipped, to get this number you need to ship certified mail.
It depends on where it is being sent from.
