On harvest moon ds how do you you train your dog to play fetch?

Its really simple. You know that annoying dog ball that Thomas will give you for free in the beginning of the game? Well, get the dog ball, go near your dog and throw it. It may take a couple of tries, but eventually your dog will get the ball and bring it back to you. If you keep training him every day, he will be able to chase of wild dogs that will try to eat your poultry/livestock. Hope this helps

you throw it this way --> but the ball must land in front of his face or he wont notice it. Just keep trying and soon enough he will catch on. oh also , after a while, just throw the ball near him and he will get it .
