To train your pet you must go to the pet pavilion and play some of the minigames there. This is considered training your pet. When you finish a game, you will be awarded with pet experience depending on how well you did in the game. You may also feed your pet a snack at this time to get extra pet experience. (You unlock the pet pavilion at level 7. If you have not unlocked yet and are level 7 or higher, go talk to Merle Ambrose in the commons.)
