If the hard drive is still good, it can be removed and easily and inexpensively installed into an enclosure that will give it a USB interface. This can be connected to any other computer that also has a USB interface (like a big thumb drive).

The adapter for the laptop does not work unless the laptop is turned on using the battery. The battery is now dead and cant be turned on. how can this be fixed. whats wrong with the laptop?
