You should go to your vet and they will give your dog the appropriate medication for its ear infection. My dog use to have chronic ear infections and it really isn't something you should mess around with trying home remedies etc. I realize it may be a cost issue but your pet is important and its hearing is very important to it as your hearing is important to you - your vet maybe able to arrange a payment plan if you cannot afford it so I encourage you to get a prescribed med.
This requires a lab test. Take the dog to your VET. It depends on whether the cause is mites, yeast, bacterial, or a combination. Treatment is similar, but a yeast infection takes longer to treat. The VET will generally use a combination of liquid ear wash and medication daily, plus cortical steroids.
MAKE SURE you understand how to administer the treatment -- don't be shy, ASK, it takes a bit of practice. Dog's ears aren't formed like ours.
In an extreme emergency, you can flush the ear(s) with a 50/50 mix of hydrogen peroxide and water, insert and clean with a soft tissue, and put an over-the-counter triple antibiotic in the ear with a soft tissue -- do not use a q tip.
It is highly likely that your dog has an infection from the bite. You should take the dog to the vet ASAP. The infection might need to be drained and/or flushed out and antibiotics might need to be administered.
In the meantime, you can use a warm compress to soften the scab to remove it to permit drainage. That should help reduce the pain some and might keep the infected area from getting larger. Since there undesirable microbes in the pus, you will want to be very careful about who touches the drainage. Make sure you wash and sanitize your hands after touching the infection.
Benadryll. I am not sure of the dosage. It would depend on the animals size. Also try a thick paste of baking soda and water and apply to the bite. Reapply it when it dries. Apply topical benidryl. Definately check with your vet if swelling doesn't go away or gets worse. Topical Benidryl means rubbing on the skin and not given by mouth. You don't know if the dog has a tick so it's best to take your dog to the vet to be sure what it is.
Go to the Vet and ask for some Mita-Clear or Ear Mite Lotion. Also, get some cotton balls (NOT Q-TIPS) to clean them out with.
You can take her to her veterinarian, who can prescribe the proper antibiotic.
if it is not that swollen try putting ice it a plastic bag and put it over it and wait.if not go to the vet immediately.
Spray it with hydrogen peroxide , It wont hurt the dog.
You should give the dog whatever the vet perscribes you when you take it there to get its ears checked.
A person can give their dog Minocycline if they have an ear infection. Before giving the dog the medication, a veterinarian should be consulted to determine the dosage amount and for the actual prescription.
i don't have a dogs.

If your dog has an ear infection it definitely could cause his eyes to be swollen. Infections can travel if not treated.
No, ear infections are NOT contagious.
no, but it can give you an ear infection.
No. It's probably not the healthiest thing to be feeding your dog, but ear infections are caused by allergies, colds, excess mucus, etc.
A dog will constantly be scratching its ear. Also, if you take a tissue and rub it in its ear, and foul smelling browny-red gunk comes out, then an ear infection is likely. The only sure fire way is to take the dog to a vet.
Your dog may have an ear infection or object in the ear, please go to the vet NOW
This is probably inflammatory exudate, which may be due to a bacterial infection, a yeast infection or an ear mite infestation. Your veterinarian can do a simple ear swab test to see what type of infection or infestation your dog may have. Based upon that, your veterinarian will give you the medications and instructions to get the infection cleared up.
Benadryl is an antihistamine (helps allergies) which means that it would not help an ear infection.
