I think it can......my silver cross and chain turned black, I just polished them. The only thing I can think of is the Selsun Blue.
Everything has a pH. This is simply a measure of how acidic or basic something is.
it's probably selsun blue
Well when i was in 3rd grade i had gotten dandruff really bad so my mom got selsun blue and my hair was long already but it kinda does because it is getting rid of the dirt and giving you plently of moisture which pretty much feeds your hair.
well... this could be a number of things, but the most common would be seborrheic dermatitis. I've had it ever since I was 10. It is a life long condition that in most cases can be treated with an over the counter shampoo. It may or may not be genetic (I'm the only person in my family who has it). Its side effects are: sores on the scalp, itchy scalp, flaky areas of the scalp, and in some cases hair loss. The best thing to do would be to purchase a dandruff shampoo i.e. T-Gel, Head and Shoulders, Selsun Blue. Out of these choices, I would say the medicated Selsun Blue works the best for me, it has menthol in it which really helps with the itch. If they do not get better or get worse, go to a dermatologist. Since it is lifelong, you will always have little outbreaks, but you can prevent them by washing regularly with dandruff shampoo.
