Sea Salt water. Combine a tablespoon of sea salt for every half cup of water, it's a strong solution. Makesure the water is hot as you can stand it without burning. Soak a paper towel in the solution and apply to the piercing. Do it 2 times a day for 15-ish minutes twice a day. Clean it gently in the shower. It should be good in a week.

ps. DONT PLAY WITH IT!!!!!!

Soap and water, you don't need antibiotics if you clean the piercing daily with soap and water. Cleaning an infected piercing will also clear the infection out of the piercing and it should settle down in 24 to 48 hours.

First, go to your doctor. They should prescribe an antibiotic which ill really help clear up the infection. If you aren't wearing glass, surgical steel, or titanium in the piercing, switch to one of those. organics and acrylic are too porous and arent good for infected piercings. Start cleaning the piercing with natural sea salt and water. Put a pinch of the salt into a shot glass of warm water. Soak your piercing in it for at least 5mins at least 2 times a day. Change your pillowcase more often if its an ear/facial piercing. Keep your hair off of your ear if it's an ear piercing.

· Wash your hands. Lather up with an antibacterial soap before touching your infected eyebrow piercing. Only touch it as necessary and try to minimize hitting or bumping it with your hand, hair brush or other objects.

· Create a saline solution. Measure a quarter tbsp. of sea salt. Pour one 8 oz. glass of warm water. Add the sea salt to the water to create the solution. Stir.

· Pour the stirred solution into the shot glass.

· Soak the infected eyebrow piercing in the warm saline solution. Use the shot glass to hold the mixture around the infected area. Do this for 3 minutes.

· Apply a warm compress to the infected area that has been soaked in the remaining salt solution. Leave it on until it cools then warm it up again. Repeat this process for up to 30 minutes.

Don't use makeup on the infected area, and make sure your hair is always pulled away from the piercing. Never touch your infected eyebrow piercing with dirty hands. Keep bottles of the solution in the shower to clean any remaining shampoo or soap residue off your eyebrow piercing. As with any infected piercing, the more you mess with it the worse it becomes. If the infection gets worse, call your doctor.

If this occurs, i suggest you go to the doctor. Stop wearing the earring if you can take it out. The doctor might give you antibiotics that can help ease the pain and take away the puss from your ear. Mainly, get it checked out by your doctor for the best results.

No, you shouldn't be using salt on the piercing at all if it is infected. Wash the piercing using lathered soap, work the soap into the piercing and then irrigate the piercing with running water while rotating or shuffling the jewellery to rinse the soap and infected dishcharge from the piercing.

You got your nose pierced a year ago it'll be fine for months and then out of nowhere it'll get infected What do you do?

First, get rid of the piercing. It's a foreign object AND an opening in the skin. Second, clean it as well as possible. Third, see your local doc for antibiotics. {E} DON'T Remove the piercing. It is keeping he hole open. If you remove the piercing you run the risk of the skin healing over the infected area causing an abscess. Clean it as best you can, and use a sea salt soak. Then go to your doctor for antibiotics. Good luck.
