There is no actual treatment for rheumatism. 3 of the main rheumatic diseases about are osteoarthritis which usually comes with joint trauma or wear and tear with age, Then there is Rheumatoid arthritis which Us an autoimmune disease where joint and other tissue are destroyed by the victims own immune system and Gouty Arthritis Where the body is not able to eliminate enough uric acid leading to the accumulation of uric-acid crystals in joints and other areas of the body. There is no actual cure for any of these diseases And there is no way of restoring the damage done to the actual joints or the cartilage of the joints effected. Anti inflammatory can be used to avert damage in the case of Rheumatoid arthritis as well as disease modifying drugs that interfere with the immune systems reaction to certain situations, in the case of Osteo noninflammatory and analgesics are used to reduce damage and pain. and with gouty arthritis the same applies wit diet being the main way to reduce the production of uric acid.
