Guinea pigs need carrots, potatoes, lettuce, apples (but without the skin they can choke), it is healthy for them. the other reason they need those things is because their teeth can grow. as they grow they curve and their teeth can grow so far and puncture her upper mouth. so every day give her baby carrots they trim her teeth and always have 2-3 little wood bricks you can get them at petsmart or petco. also when you get guinea pig food get one that has a lot of different kinds of food in it, it is alot healthier. and remember to give it fresh water every day
