First isolate what is not working, if it's not spinning, could be belt coupler (if used in lieu of belt) or motor. Look at motor if that's the case and examine belt or coupler for obvious damage. If motor is spinning but doesn't spin basket-you found your problem. If it's not filling-valve, confirm has water supply=not draining, pump. If hoses ok but pump is shot easier to replace (and less costly) than a rebuild-if you could even get parts.
