yu need to adjust the venturi screw which is located usually on the underside of the carb, turning this screw increases & decreases the air/fuel mixture,
if black smoke is comming from ur exhaust then ur running rich..meaning to much fuel is being burnt, usually caused by the axcess fuel entering the carb thus not allowing the air to attomise the fuel....screw the nut in with engine running & u should see a difference
if ur looking for more pwer...u need more induction of air in to the card whilst insreasing the fuel...unfortunatly i am no bike expert & have limmited knowledge but i hope this helps
