Assuming you have the automatic transmission, on the bottom left side of the "T"-handle of the shift lever is a button. When you press it, it will turn of the overdrive, and this causes the "O/D Off" light to come on. Press the button again and it wil turn on the overdrive, and the light should go off. If it doesn't, there is some sort of problem that will need to be traced down and fixed.
