You don't want to disable it, but your iPod will be disabled if you get the passcode wrong 6 times in a row. Then it will disable for one minute, then 5 minutes, 10, 15, 60, 90, and so on.
If you've enabled the erase data feature, after 10 failed passcode attempts all the data will erase.

∙ 13y agoYou Press The Top Button On Top, Then The Home Button On The Bottom Till The Screen Of Your I-Pod Turns Black, If You Want To Restart Your I-Pod, Or Turn It Back On, Press The Top Button On Top For About 10 Seconds, Then Still Holding The Top Button, Press The Home Button On The Bottom Of The Screen Until The I-Pod Turns On. To Disable, Just Go To Settings, Then Restrictions Then Turn Off Any Apps... I'm Not Sure What You Mean By Disable.

∙ 12y agoThere is a small button on the upper right hand corner. If it is turned completely off then you have to hold it down for 5 seconds. But if it is just in sleep mode just click the bottom once.
