You can disable in your browser when it wants to run by denying permission, you can turn off completely in your browser or you can try to update if it is an older version. Some sites require a flash player, if you don't frequent them then you can get by without it or use another program to run.

You could be hitting the flash feature on the turn signal arm when you use it.
Right click on the player -> Settings... Turn off hardware acceleration. That fixed it for me.
