how to get closed caption on dynex tv
If by "texts" you mean Closed Captioning, you simply have to turn that feature on with your TV.
To read the words of a televised speech accurately, you can turn on closed captioning if available. This feature displays the spoken words as text on the screen in real-time. If closed captioning is not an option, you can also search online for a transcript of the speech, which is often provided by the broadcaster or speaker.
If you're watching the video on your computer, you can turn closed captioning on and off via the speech bubble icon near the right of the controls that appear across the bottom of the window when you point there. On iPhone and iPod touch, Select iPod in General Settings and scroll down to the Video section. On iPad look for the switch in Video in General Settings.
It sounds like closed captioning might be turned on. If you don't use this, turn it off by using the on screen menu, or you might have a button on your remote that says 'CC'.
hmmmm the on button?
Options > Audio > Captioning > Full Captions/Subtitles only
See if your TV has a menu button. If it does, hit that, then go to screen options, or captioning options. You would probably use the channel up/down to navigate. you will eventually find the caption off/on/on when muted option. If there is no menu button, you may need to get another remote or a universal remote.
I can't turn off the closed caption please help
before you plug it in ontothe computer turn it on and then connect it.

Hi, If the subtitles are included in the program content, you should be able to display the subtitles. All televisions made after 2002 (I think that's about the right year) are required to be able to display subtitles. It's called, `closed captioning`, and you should be able to turn it on and off from your remote control. You can find out how from your owner's manual. Hope this helps, Cubby
