WHILE HOLDING BREAK PEDAL AND TRIPOMETER BUTTON DOWN STILL, it should come up with 20,000 which is what the service should be (every 20,000 miles) it should turn off the service warning light. on my corsa c sxi 1.2 i think it just said "INSP" every time you swithed the ignition on. sorted. job done. hope this helps :-) p.s.... worked on my astra mk4 as well!!!! it depends on the age of the vehicle. Older ones have hydraulic PAS. The fault could be in the pump, the Rack, a leak, or as simple as a low fluid level. More recent Corsa's have an electric system (you will see a light on the dash "ESP" for Electric Power Steering when starting the engine.) If you see this light when starting or driving, the fault is in the steering column or control unit, and is not uncommon.
