The compass is part of the HUD display in the Google Earth Flight Simulator. HUD instrument display can be toggled on/off by pressing 'H' key.

turn up the air traffic and ground traffic in settings on fsx. Not the more you have the more cpu use the programme demands

The default to pause and unpause Microsoft Flight Simulator X is the "P key". If this doesn't work you were probably changing control commands in the settings and either changed it without remembering or assigned another control to the "P key", which in turn, unassigned the pause control. To reassign the pause key go to controls in settings, double click the control you want to reassign and then press the key(s) that you want to use for that control.
The friction in a compass must be low so that the compass needle can turn freely and point to magnetic north.

I cant explain the whole thing in detail as it is complicated, there are several method available using which two dimensional images are converted to 3d models the most difficult is to generate a 3d model from a single image as every image has a depth information in it and depends in the way the image was captured, other methods are to use multiple images, etc.....
