JavaScript maybe
Open Internet Explorer. Then click Tools>>Pop up blocker>> Turn on pop blocker
In internet explorer go to tools option in that pop up blocker to be turned off.....
it is not a good idea to turn off your pop-up blocker, any sort of virus or spyware can be connected to a pop-up. If you need to you can turn it off for certain websites but allowing it for every site could potentially hurt the computer.
There is no popup blocker for the iPad, but you can turn off JavaScript in the safari settings. This may break many websites you visit, though.
Mac word documents files pop up when the computer is turned on.
To stop pop ups, one needs to turn the pop up blocker on. Or one can use such programs as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape and Opera.
