How do u turn off the air bags suspention on a 2004 audi allroad
Talked to a mechanic when purchasing the vehicle - he said that you have to turn off the air bags in the glove compartment when changing tires to prevent this from happening. Hope this helps.
I own a 2001 Lincoln town car and i had a problem where the "air suspension" light was on in the instrument cluster and the rear end started to sag. turns out the air bags were leaking and the air compressor is designed to turn off in this situation to prevent the compressor from burning up. I ended up replacing the rear air bags with a coil spring kit which i found new for around $300 versus the more expensive new air bags. The ride was not noticably sacrificed but the "air suspension" light ramins on in the instrument cluster.
Will they fit..? Yes, but they are different in that the 2003 - 2006 have a better turn signal and they added a puddle light on the bottom of the cover. EIther way they are big $$$
Your question makes no sense. If you are asking can you turn the air bags off the answer is no.
google it, there will be direction to cut a certain wire to make the light go away. There will be no damage done by doing this.
The CD changer is located in the trunk on the drivers side next to the switch to turn off the air ride suspension.
the suspension is called this because the part atatched to the chasis is called your wishbone, wich holds in place your hub, wich in turn holds in your suspension there for it is called a wishbone suspension
Try jiggling the wheel as you turn the key. Sometimes if the steering wheel is in a little bit of a bind it won't allow the key to turn or unlock the wheel.
2001 it should be located PASSENGER SIDE UNDER THE GLOVE BOX TO THE RIGHT THERE IS A PANEL IT IS A BLACK SWITCH RECTANGLE SHAPED. MAKE SURE YOU TURN IT BACK ON BEFORE DRIVING
With a 3" suspension lift on my 2001 I have P245-75-R16's and they rub a little on the front mud flaps when I turn but not too bad.
