Google it, there will be direction to cut a certain wire to make the light go away. There will be no damage done by doing this.
Try turning the switch off in the trunk on drivers side.

What causes the compressor to gail is a slow leak in the rear air springs. Rubber just naturally dries out. As a result the air compressor has been working itself to hard. You need to replace your air springs. You can get excellent air springs for your car made with Good Year rubber
check to see if the air compressor turns on, and listen for an air leak from the rear tires, if you hear a leak than you have a whole in the air suspension and the bags need to be replaced
Make sure switch in trunk is in proper position
If you are talking about the air bag suspension the switch is in the trunk, driver's side, little access panel or disconnect the battery for about an hour and the light will go out.
If the check suspension light is staying on in a 2000 Navigator, it is probably because some part of the suspension is malfunctioning. This could be that the shocks need to be replaced or a ball joint is bad. Either way, it is a dangerous situation.
You may have mis-aligned the sensor when you replaced it.
There is a switch on the right side of the trunk that reads (on /off ) check to be sure that the switch is on. if it is on and the air suspension light still remains on you may need to replace the air bags . that can be costly, however you can choose to replace them with coil springs that work very nicly and the car will handle just as well.
A possible cause for this is that air suspension pump is continully working due to a leaking air bag

You should check the air suspension switch, located on the passenger's side of the trunk. If the switch is off, the light will come on, also check the air suspension fuse. If both of these are OK, then the pump could possibly be going out.
