Hyundai and all vehicle car manufacturers that use the SRS Airbag system DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT AIR BAGS ARE TURNED OFF.
No Hyundai Dealer will disconnect a AIRBAG without risking loosing their Dealership.
Many customers want to put their baby seats in the front of the car and many times I have been asked to turn off the front airbags which is denied in all cases. Also children under 4ft tall must NEVER travel in the front of any car, nevermind with or without AIRBAGS.
