There is no idle adjustment. It is controled by the computer.
You need to look for a vacuum leak, And may need to clean the idle air controll that screews into the left rear side of the TBI. throttle body.
Is the check engine light on ?? If so need to scan engine with a engine scanner to see what is wrong with the eminssion system.
Not adjustable. Sounds like the throttle position sensor.
it has a low idle. Can also be a vacuum hose leak.

There is no idle ajustment on a TBI, It is precailbrated and sealed from the factory DO NOT FULL WITH IT AT ALL..... You have another problem like a vaccum leak under the throttle body, are some where.

Should have a carburetor so all you have to do is turn the idle screw down some on the carb.
turn down your idle. theres a screw with a spring. right dab in the middle of the manifold with the injectors below the top part of intake. turn it to the left to turn it down. and so on
Turn the idle down.
With the engine OFF & cold the fan should not turn more then a 1/4 turn or less. If it spins more then a turn that could be part of the overheating problem. I would check your water pump & belt.
