Of course you can , you install the new webcam , and you choose from device manager the new installed webcam to be your primary.
If your computer does not detect a webcam in the computer. It will automatically turn the computer off.
If you are in a call and someone else has their webcam on you are not able to turn it off. You could just simply ask them to just it off or hit the little X that appears by it when Skype is minimized so you don't have to see it.
To turn off your webcam on an HP G60, you can typically disable it through the Device Manager. Right-click on the Start menu, select Device Manager, find "Imaging devices," right-click on your webcam, and choose "Disable device." To turn it back on, follow the same steps and select "Enable device." Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut (often a function key like F10) if your laptop has a dedicated webcam toggle.
click on the webcam icon and disable private mode

You can turn on the built in Webcam, for a Mercer laptop computer by going to the program menu. In the program menu click on YouCam. Open the YouCam program and the Webcam will turn on.
Access to a webcam depends on your device. You will need a software application that allows you to access and use the webcam. Your computer manual should explain the specific procedure required for your computer.
That's impossible. If you are chatting with someone on whatever chat site you are using, you can only "spy" or see them through their own webcam while they are having it on. If they turn the webcam off or log out of the chat then there's nothing you can do to force the webcam to start again.
