Depends on where you live. In MOST of the US, there IS no registration of guns. When buying one from a dealer, the dealer keeps a record of that sale at the shop.

There is no UN global gun ban. Even if the UN were silly enough to pass such a mandate, there would be no way to enforce such a ban and it would have no force of law.
