unclog a fuel line or unclog your filter and pump? the lines i think you can just disconnect the fuel filter and pump, disconnect all lines from the tank, and blow them out with air. i dont know if there's anything special about a 97 s10 but shouldnt be too hard if you have an air compressor.
pumps and filters should be replaced, not repaired.
The fuel line is located on the drivers side on the top of the frame.
There is no fuel pump reset button in that vehicle.

I just had to patch a cut fuel line on my 93 S10 4.3l V6 and used 3/8" compression fittings, so I would say 3/8" steel line.
