Make sure all of your browsers are closed and not running. Open Task Manager and check to make sure. If any are running stop them. Now open Add/Remove Programs or Uninstall Program and from the list of applications, find and uninstall the Ask Toolbar and the Ask Updater. Now look for other applications that has "Ask" in the publisher field. If you find one then uninstall it. Now clean your browsers.
