How do you uninstall fonts when you try to delete them it says font is in use by another program and there is no other programs open?

I just had the damdest font that wouldn't delete from the fonts folder because it said that it was in use by another program, even
after I'd just booted up.
I surfed and found this delightfully free software which tells you what is locking a file and allows you to unlock it.
I downloaded it from here...http://download.cnet.com/Unlocker/3000-2248_4-10493998.html.
You may have special things that you all use... but I wanted to share, just in case you didn't.
