I just had the damdest font that wouldn't delete from the fonts folder because it said that it was in use by another program, even
after I'd just booted up.
I surfed and found this delightfully free software which tells you what is locking a file and allows you to unlock it.

You may have special things that you all use... but I wanted to share, just in case you didn't.

When you uninstall a program, you have to make sure and go back and delete all the files from the desktop, menu and in the program files, some uninstall programs do this for you, many still do not.
Generally I use the control panel to delete the program.if it doesn't work I will use uninstall toll to do it, it is evry useful!

First off, you have to Uninstall that program (Go to Control Panel, Programs, Uninstall a program, Find the Application it happens on, then click "Uninstall"). Then remove the program from your desktop & the files to it.
You can either run the uninstall program, or you can just delete the folder that it is installed in. Windows programs are placed in /home/yourusername/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files

One should not delete a program,programs can never be deleted they should always be uninstalled.Deleting a program can never help because if you delete a program u will not see it there but it is used by the computer or system.When you uninstall a program it is totally removed from the computer and is never used again unless u install it.
first try and delete all icons of free realms. just put in your recycle bin and delete. then from there, try going to your control panel (click start, its on the right side), and go to programs. from there, click uninstall a program, and then click the free realms installation icon, and click uninstall. then refresh your computer. -Kudos
