Lexmark provides un-installation software from windows uninstaller. The drivers and printer can be removed by right clicking the printer in "Devices and Printers". FInd both these by searching at the start-menu or control panel.
To connect a Lexmark X2580 printer to a Windows 98 Compaq computer without a disc, first download the appropriate drivers from the Lexmark support website using another computer. Transfer the drivers to the Windows 98 machine via a USB drive or other means. Once transferred, install the drivers by accessing the downloaded files and following the setup prompts. Finally, connect the printer to the computer using a USB cable, and configure it through the "Printers" section in the Control Panel.
Check cables again, switch cables with known good cables. Check IP. Make sure all 192 first. Try loading drivers for a newer version printer.
Download the drivers for the printer from http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:284:0:0 by selecting the correct OS and other details... Then try plugging it in on a USB drive, it should work...
The i550 drive is ALREADY installed in windows vista! Just plug your printer into the computer and turn on your printer. This action will activate the install, and will be ready to use within a minute.
You back up your files, and clear your hard drive. But then your computer won't turn on without a bootable CD.
You can manually go through the file structure and the registry and delete the files and registry keys belonging to the program. You can usually find out which files to delete and where they are by searching "manual uninstall [game name here]".
i never tryed that but you could backup everything u need from your slave to an other disk then reformat the hardrive witch would delete everything on it including windows.
I had trouble uninstalling it before, and had to format my entire Hard Drive. If you want to completely, and cleanly uninstall it, user Revo Uninstaller. It's a free program that can force any program on your computer to completely uninstall itself. It also deletes the leftover program files and registry entries.
If you have installed it from the installer package, then you should be able to just uninstall it the normal Windows method. Otherwise, if you are running the Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM), disable and remove it from the mod list and then delete the FOOK folder from your hard drive.
Go to your command prompt of the drive with Professional & put in the 3 1/2 Floppy "Start-Up" disk. Type "FDisk" in the command prompt and it will give you a series of options, one of them being "Uninstall Windows XP." From there, follow the steps to uninstall. The best way to uninstall an OS is to format the drive used. Of-course you need to take backup of your important data from that drive.
You cannot reverse such process especially after you have installed the os. But if you remember the old partition size you can format the disk again, delete partitions which you don't need and create a partition which you want to have.
