Go to your profile page, and click on "Edit profile." This is the data that has been pulled from your Facebook profile. Uncheck the items you would like to hide from your Answers.com profile.
Disconnecting your Facebook will still leave your real name on the site. If you contact support, they will change your name to something more anonymous for you. Just send them a few options for what you would like it to be.

It appears that if you started using Answers before a certain date, which I don't know, you could have done so without a Facebook account, and (obviously from this) you can continue on Answers. This certainly applies to me - but although I do not, and will not, use FB, now I wonder if FB has all the details it now needs for its main business, from Answers users in my position?
