Purity forest is unlocked after completing Pitfall Valley
Pitfall Valley is accesible after completing Northern Range
To get to Northern Range you must purchase the friend area "Southern Island" and have/get HM Surf. After that do a mission or dungeon to trigger event.
To get HM Surf, you must go to Solar Cave and reach the floor 20. Note, the leader must be able to cross, or float across, water. Example: A Chimecho.
