On a S10 1993 and older. pry the door ajar with a screw driver or flat prybar, then use the hanger to flip the lock on the inside... i have also used a long wire used to hang heater duct to unroll the window... there is a gap in the upper right corner of the door you can put a long wire through so you dont mess up the paint. to unroll the window you will have to bend one end of the wire to look like a curved letter N and do a push and pull sequence on the window crank
