The instructions in the manual are not completely correct. The procedure involves holding two buttons at the same time. I believe they are radio preset buttons 5 and 6. Well, it's not. On my car they turned out to be 3 and 6. Experiment.
After you put your find your primary code, hold the presets 5 and 6 down for about 10 seconds than do
scan-down 6
scan- up 6
seek-down 6
seek- up 1
than press am/fm
