You need to figure out how to remove the drain plug. Some are connected to the plunger that operates from under the sink or inside the tube. Some tube drain plugs have a set screw on the side that allows you to remove the plug. You may get help from a store clerk at Home Depot or Lowes as to how to remove the drain plug. Use a light weight coat hanger and straighten it out but make a small bend at the end. Run this down your drain and pull out any junk. Good Luck.

Drano and all the other products do NOT work! You should go to a reputable store and search for products like Zonk or other commercial products that contain Sulphuric acid. Read the directions carefully and do not forget to rinse the heck out of it in the end with COLD water. These products heat the clog up and disperse the material. This results in very hot pipes that need to be cooled down after.
