How do you untangle your dogs hair?

You can bring it to the groomers. Or you can brush and brush and comb and comb. You can even try some of that hairspray that gets rid of knots, but if you do that be very careful because you don't want your dog to swallow it or get it in its eyes.

First get a comb and get as much lose hair from around the knotted area.Get a special knot scraper with the blades on it.Put it underneath your cats knot and twiggle it,then pull it out.And thats how you get a knot out of a cats hair.

The best method may be having to cut the knot out with a pair of scissors. To avoid any knots, brush your dog regularly, depending on how much or how long fur he/she has and how much he/she sheds.

Well, you can cut it but it is not advised to do so. If you really need to do so, then take your dog to a groomer. They will be able to do this more gently than scissors can. If your dog has very shaggy hair, you do very much want to take it to a groomer. If your dog has short to very short hair, then you can do it yourself if you have an electric shaver (used for guys hair). This is best. Do not wash your dog before you do this, it will only get it more tangled and will make it a lot harder to shave. If certain parts of your dog are tangled, try to get it out with a soft brush or comb for dogs. If that is not possible, you may have to shave your dog totally.
