Well on my iphone i got the developer version for IOS 5 before it was released. First you need to download iTunes 10.5. go onto apple.com and click the itunes tab. you can find it there. then if your phone is compatible it Will say your phone has an update IF IT IS PLUGGED INTO YOUR COMPUTER.
IF IT DOESN'T NOT GO ONTO APPLE.COM AND SEARCH FOR IOS 5
