Assuming of course you have installed the Google Now Launcher on either version of the Nexus 7 (2012 or 2013), the application lives on the left side of your home screens. Simply swipe your finger to your right to get to the farthest left screen, and the Google Now page will appear. How you want it to display content will depend on what you want displayed. You can have weather, traffic, sport scores, nearest places to go, and other cards to display. To set up, you can long press any parts of the home screen, and a Settings icon (in the shape of a gear) will appear. Click it, and you can configure your cards, phone search, voice (ie: "OK Google" command), and notifications.
