well basically you get an emulator for ps1 games, and once al downloaded and installed you click, File, Open Rom,( or Open Rom) depending on which emulator you are using( i find AdrillPSX ILE 1.0.5 to be the best) and click on wherever you saved the Rom file (Of which you download from a site) and click it to play. to find rroms just search psx roms on Google. :) hope this helps

Nintendo Rom you just download and open it in an emulator but with Playstation roms you have to jump through a bunch of hoops to play them. Why?

The difference in ease of use between Nintendo and PlayStation ROMs often stems from the way each company's hardware and software are designed. Nintendo's systems typically have more straightforward emulation setups, while PlayStation consoles, especially the later models, have complex hardware that requires additional configurations or plugins for proper emulation. Additionally, PlayStation games often come with advanced features like 3D graphics and unique architecture, making them more challenging to emulate effectively. This complexity can lead to a more cumbersome experience for users trying to play PlayStation ROMs.
