Throw it in the trashcan, buy a floor jack. There is a reason it is called the "widowmaker"
Should be in the boot with the spare....
The safe jacking point on the new VW Beetle is at the drain plug. Use a square of plywood on the floor jack. The stand goes under the forward spring plate or under the round outer torsion bar.
Only if VW recommends it. Use exactly what VW recommends.
under the rear seat behind the top of the battery you will see a hplder for the jack.
In the trunk, along with the mini-sized spare tire.
hitler, for use in ww2
yes they do
Yes, but it's not a fun swap.
i have a 2002 vw golf tdi, i found a oil that i use that is approved by vw, its a castrol syntec 5w-40
It seems VW use their own formulation of steering fluid. it's "VW G 002 000". Seems like you have to get it from a VW dealer.
Use 20W50 oil (Castrol makes it) in a type 1 VW.
they use 5w-30
