You must deposit 10,000 bells into your bank account, and in the mail the next day, you will receive a shopping card. You can only use the shopping card at Gracie Grace to withdraw money from your ABS account electronically because no more than 99,999 bells can fit in your pocket at one time.
You can also get more shopping cards anytime you feel like it. Go to the ABD and select "Issue Shopping Card" and you will get one in the mail the next day.

∙ 12y agoIf you go to the city to Gracie Grace and you have your shopping card on you but, you don't have enough money then when you buy something the porcupine says do you want to use your shopping card. The money comes from your bank account so make sure you have enough money in there. You can re order a card if you loose it or want another one. The card can only be used in Gracie Grace.

∙ 14y agoYou put a large amount of money in the bank, around twenty-thousand bells and a few days later the bank will have posted you a shopping card that can only be gotten on the wii. You can only use it at the Gracie Grace.

∙ 14y agoYou know the bellpoint, right? Well, if you put enough money in there to buy something from graciegrace, have your shopping card in your inventory and buy something. Evwen if you have no bells in your purse/wallet, money from your bellpoint will be used via the shopping card! Hope this helps you = ) molly x

∙ 14y agoThe shopping card only has one use. The shopping card is used to buy items from Gracey Grace, the lavish store in The City. Since you cannot carry more than 99,999 bells in your pocket, the shopping card allows you to use it like a Debit Card to withdraw and spend money from the bank on items that cost more than 99,999 bells.

1. - make 100,000 bells!
to make 100,000 bells, go to the wii menu and set the calender to year 2000. then go onto Animal Crossing and start playing, but as soon as you get into the game, save it and quit it. then go back onto the wii menu and change the calender to year 2035. then go onto animal crossing again and start the game, as soon as you've started though, check your mailbox and you should have a letter from the bank saying that you've earned 100,000 bells in interest! save the game and quit it. then go onto the wii menu and change the calender to your present year, i.e - 2010. your money should be in your bank. the only trouble is you will find a lot of weeds in your town and you'll have bedhead from time travelling!
2. - grow bells!
when you get the golden shovel, bury a bag of bells with it! it will soon grow into a fine money/bell tree!
