step 1.) Turn on your Nintendo Ds with the Action Replay in it.
step 2.) Go to add cheats.
step 3.) Press A on the codes you want.
step 4.) Press start in the middle of the screen with your game in ( or after you switch them out if you have the old ver. that doesnt hold the game).
note: I suggest that after you select your codes, take out the AR and put in the game whether you have the old version or not to protect from freezing.

Action replay is a cheat pack that makes it so you can get special stuff. Example: On Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum you can use the walk on water cheat to get to Darkrai. You can find Action Replays at Gamestop and target from what i know. if they ask if you want Gameshark say no. For Gameshark can ruin your DS.
