∙ 14y agoMany people think that lotion is for softening your skin, right? Well it's not. Lotion was made to lock in moisture. Therefore, it is best to apply body lotion after getting out of the shower. Right after you get out of the shower, pull your hair up and out of the way, then dab your skin half way dry with a soft towel. Make sure you're not dripping, but that your skin is not completely dry. The last step is to cover your skin in lotion. Be sure not to use to much, because a small amount will be effective!!!
