How do you use games dowloaded by bittorrent?

1) If by 'play' you mean it's a video, most torrented videos require the Xvid codec. If you use VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) the codec is included.

2) If by 'play' you mean game, and the downloaded file is a CD/DVD image (.iso, .nrg, .dda, .mdf, .bin, .cue) you need to mount that image with a CD image mounting program. Free: http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php?mode=ViewCategory&catid=5

3) If by 'play' you mean you downloaded a .torrent file and don't know what to do with it, http://www.utorrent.com/downloads download micro torrent, and whenever you are downloading a .torrent, choose open with utorrent

after downloading the torrent, just find the location of the torrent and look in the folder for it whatever you downloaded.

Right click on the file in utorrent and open folder. If the game is an .iso image file, then use daemon tools or poweriso to mount it, or you could burn it and install it from the disc.

Most games will come in an "image" file that needs to be burned to CD, or "mounted" to a "virtual drive." I will elaborate on the terms in quotes.

Image File = An exact image of the CD compiled into one file. Typical file types are ISO, and BIN in the bittorrent world, but others such as UIF exist.

Virtual Drive = A drive that is created for the purpose of "tricking" the computer into thinking there is another drive on the PC. Anything can be loaded to this, including image files. When an image file is loaded ( mounted ) to a virtual drive, the program can be run as if there were the actual CD in the drive.

Common programs that are capable of this are PowerISO, MagicISO, and Alcohol 120. All three of these programs can read all image files, with the exception of UIF, which is solely a MagicISO format.
