Take right mouse right click on the selected word/phase/para/sheet/diagram and select the option 'cut' (or by pressing the keys <Ctrl + X> to cut) and paste wherever you want to paste (by pressing the keys <Ctrl + V>) by taking right mouse click and by selecting the option 'Paste'
cut-and-paste will allow you to remove (cut) the text from the original place and put (paste) it in the new place, effecting the move. If you want the original left alone, then copy-and-paste will not remove the text from the original place.
Cut and Copy are two different functions of Word. Cut will take the Highlighted text from your word document and delete it. When you paste it will move the deleted text to where ever you paste. Copy just dupilcates the highlighted text where ever you paste.

If you want to move some piece of text, use Cut and Paste function:Select the text you want to move.Press CTRL + X. This will cut the text.Place your cursor where you want to paste the text.Press CTRL + V , paste the text and voila, it is done. :-)
If you mean through the internet, you can highlight the text with your cursor, and press Ctrl+C to copy the text and then press Ctrl+Z to paste the text where you would like it to be. This would be an alternative to traditional methods of copy and paste.
When copying or moving text a short distance you can use a quick method called "cut and paste" or "copy and paste." This involves selecting the text, cutting or copying it, then pasting it in the desired location.
You need to do a Cut and Paste. There are many ways of doing it. Highlight the block of text you wish to move first. Click the highlighted area and drag with your mouse to the new location Click on the Cut icon, move to where you want to go and press the Paste icon. Press Ctrl X to cut highlighted area, move to where you want to go to and then press Ctrl V to paste. Select the text and press the F2 key. Then go to where you want to put the text and press Enter. Press Shift-Delete to Cut it and Ctrl - V to paste it. Press Alt-E-T to Cut and after moving to where you want to go, press Alt-E-P to Paste.
You can drag and drop it, or you could cut and paste it.
Cut or copied text is moved to the clipboard (or Office clipboard), then pasted wherever you move the cursor and click to indicate an insertion point.
Cut will take the original away, and Paste onto the destination. Copy take a copy of the original, and paste onto the destination. The difference is the original object (the text, the file, the folder, etc) remain in tack (no alternation) for Copy, the original be moved (the Cut)
To move a paragraph from the end to the beginning of the same page, you can cut the paragraph from its current position and paste it at the desired location. Use the cut and paste function of your text editing software to accomplish this task efficiently.
