you get behind the choking person, have their feet shoulder width apart and put 1 leg between theirs to catch them and lower them if they become unconscious, wrap your arms around their waist and find their belly button. Then make a fist with your other hand thumb towards them and place it right beneath the belly button. take the hand the you used to find the belly button and place it over your fist. then pull inward and upward to force air out in attempt to dislodge the object. continue until the object is dislodged or the person passes out. in the mean time 911 should have been called and you shouldn't have to continue because they should have arrived by the time that happens if called immediately
