The mouse is in the Maid's room of the castle (first floor left side). You can capture him with cheese you find in the dungeon.
You will need to use the gold coin from the fountain to enter the Mordred Museum and get the Library Slip from the books there. In the castle library (first floor right side), click on the shelf marked McM to enter the dungeon.
