Perfidy depicts a deliberate breach of faith or trust. It can also be used to show an instance or event of treachery/trouble. As an example; Though the local minister has had an impecable record of trust, honesty, and integrity the entire 28 years of service to his local community, the elicit photos that have surfaced clearly show he had a short time of perfidy some 9 years ago.
